Thur May 16
10:00am Meet at bus.

Visit St. Patrick's Cathedral. Prepare ourselves for our time at Ground Zero with quiet contemplation, singing in the courtyard, experiencing this amazing spiritual sanctuary in the heart of the bustling city.

Take the bus to the pier. Get tickets for Ground Zero.

Lunch on own at the pier.

2:00pm Walk to ground zero viewing platform. While in line at St. Paul's chapel, look at and experience all of the memorials that are still being left at the gates of the church.

View the site of the World Trade Center buildings.

Enter St. Paul's Chapel which is special for many reasons. It was the church where George Washington prayed when he became the first president of the United States. It has served as a place of rest, renewal and sustenance for the rescue and recovery workers since shortly after September 11th. Hear from 2 very special workers at St. Paul's about their experiences here. Very very powerful! Spend time writing a personal and special prayer that will be left at the chapel. Experience a healing ceremony in the church yard, to bless and consecrate our prayers and visions for our own lives, for the people of New York City, for our country and the people in our global family.

5:00pmGroup experience of subway to return to the hotel.
Fri May 17
9:30am Board the bus and go to Battery Park and Clinton Castle. Here we will catch the ferry to Liberty Island and Ellis Island. We will spend the day exploring history... the past... in our own lives and in the life of the United States of America. We will learn about the history of the Statue of Liberty, what it represents and how it came to be. We will spend time at Ellis Island exploring the experience of literally millions of immigrants who have become American family. A rich day celebrating the best of American ideals... and a big part of how we became the diverse country that we are today.
Lunch will be on your own at Liberty Island.

5:00pm Catch ferry from Ellis Island back to Battery Park.

We will stop in Battery Park to look at the "Sphere" that stood in the courtyard of the world trade center. It was created as a monument to world peace. It survived the crashing down of those two towers... it is a powerful image of the resilience of truth. We will have a process here and do some visioning through song of what our world can... and will be!

6:00pmBoard bus and return to the hotel.
7:30pmOptional trip to the top of the Empire State Building. This is once again, the tallest building in the city. Going to the top is very symbolic of raising one's perspective to the highest possible level of consciousness! The view from the top of this building is absolutely amazing!
Sat May 18
9:30am Bus leaves for Strawberry Fields in Central Park to visit the memorial to John Lennon. We will do a visioning for a future of peace for ourselves, our country and all the world. A powerful process of putting our prayers for the planet 'out there'! We'll sing and send our love radiating from this spot all around the globe.
