Inspired Path® Tour to the Holy Land - Sample Itinerary**

DAY 1 - TRAVEL
Depart from USA to the Holy Land (Israel and Palestine).
DAY 2 - TEL AVIV
Arrive in Tel Aviv Israel. We will be met at the airport by our tour guide. Board the bus to the fascinating city of Tel Aviv and visit the ancient port city of Jaffa. Lunch (on your own) and transfer to your hotel for a free afternoon to relax, dinner and overnight. Group gathering at 6:00pm.
DAY 3 - TIBERIAS IN GALILEE
Drive to the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Caesarea, once the Roman Capital of Palestine. Visit the Theater and the Aqueduct. Continue to Mt. Carmel and the Carmelite Monastery of Muhraka, where Elijah fought against the Gods of Ba'al. Then on to the city of Haifa, enjoy the panoramic views of the largest port of Israel and see the magnificent Baha'i temple. Then on to Megiddo to see the site of Armageddon, King Solomon's Stables and walk the water system. Drive across the Galilee to the Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.
DAY 4 - TIBERIAS IN GALILEE
At Nof Genosar, visit the fisherman's boat found in 1986, dated back to the days of Jesus. Take a private boat ride across the Sea of Galilee. Drive to Capernaum. It is believed Jesus performed more miracles and taught more sermons here than any other place. Next, to the Church on the Mt. of Beatitudes, where the Sermon on the Mount took place, Tabga and the Church of the Multiplication. Then drive through Migdal, birthplace of Mary Magdalen. Primacy of Peter Church. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight in Tiberias. Group meeting 8:30pm.
DAY 5 - DEAD SEA
Group meeting at 8:15am. Special baptism ceremony at the Jordan River. Drive to the Lower Galilee region through Kana to Nazareth. Visit the Church of the Annunciation. Then on to Mt. Gilboa and visit the Harod Spring, where Gideon chose his 300 brave men. Continue along the Jordan Valley to Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Take the cable car up the Mount of Temptation. See the Jordan Valley and the promised land, as Moses saw it from Mt. Nebo (although from opposite direction.) Drive to the Dead Sea (the lowest point on earth, almost 1300 feet below sea level) to the Dead Sea resort where you can float in the Dead Sea and use the "magic" Dead Sea minerals, mud and the full size SPA at your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea.
DAY 6 - JERUSALEM
Visit Ein Gedi, the site of the cave where David sought refuge from Saul and underwent a major internal transformation. Visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947. Drive to the Judean Hills, to the most beautiful city in the world, JERUSALEM, for dinner and overnight. Group meeting at 8:00pm.
DAY 7 - JERUSALEM
Drive to the Mt. of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit the Church of Pater Noster, Our Father, and the Church of the Ascension. Walk down to the Church and Gardens of Gethsemani. Drive to Caiaphas (High Priest) House and see the dungeon where Jesus was held before his trial. Mt. Zion for a visit to David's Tomb and the last Supper Room. Drive to Bethlehem and visit the Church of the Nativity and the shepherds' fields. Special time for shopping in one of Bethlehem's best souvenir shops. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
DAY 8 - JERUSALEM
A full day in the magnificent 'old city' of Jerusalem. Start a walking tour of the Old City in the Jewish quarter and place our prayers in the Western Wall, the holiest site for Judaism. Visit the Wall Excavations, visited by few people every year. Visit the "temple steps", a unique archaeological area, with the original steps that led to the entrance of the Temple 2000 years ago. Visit the temple mount and the Islamic mosques, including the Dome of the Rock where Mohammed ascended to Heaven on his night journey. This site is sacred to Muslims, Christians and Jews. It is a spiritual power point. In the Christian quarter, visit the Pool of Bethesda, St. Anna Church, the Lithostratos at the Ecce Homo Arch. Start walking the Way of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) to the Holy Sepulchre Church. Visit the Garden Tomb. Special time for meditation. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Group meeting at 8:00pm.
DAY 9 -JERUSALEM
Group meeting at 8:00am. Visit the Shrine of the Book to see the exhibition of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Continue to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial for a visit. Plant a tree in the "Forest of the Peace" with a special process/ceremony to vision peace in this sacred land and for our entire planet. Drive to Ein Karem for a visit to the Church of St. John the Baptist. Stop at the Biblical Resource Institute and enjoy a visit to the life in the first century with a reenactment Seder Meal (the Last Supper). Visit the HolyLand Hotel and see a model of Jerusalem in the days of Jesus. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 10 - TRAVEL to USA
You will be transferred to the airport for your departure from Tel Aviv, Israel to the USA.
